Safety Guidelines

Last updated: March 14, 2026

sworn.work connects local users, but each user is responsible for their own safety and decisions.

1. Meet safely

  • Meet in public places when possible, especially for first-time interactions.
  • Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you expect to return.
  • Trust your instincts and leave immediately if something feels unsafe.

2. Avoid scams

  • Be cautious with urgent pressure, unusual requests, or inconsistent details.
  • Do not share sensitive financial or identity information unnecessarily.
  • Keep communication on-platform when possible for better record keeping.

3. Do not post illegal tasks

Tasks must comply with local, state, and federal law. Do not post tasks involving illegal goods, illegal services, fraud, harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct.

4. Report suspicious users or content

If you see suspicious activity, scams, threats, or illegal content, report it immediately to support@sworn.work. If you believe there is immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.

5. Personal responsibility

sworn.work does not conduct in-person supervision and cannot guarantee user behavior. You are solely responsible for evaluating who you meet, where you meet, and whether to proceed with a task.
